The new Audi RS4 Avant leaks ahead of Geneva
The 2012 Audi RS4 Avant has leaked on to the web ahead of its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. It seems likely that tomorrow we’ll get official images and details of the 2012 Audi RS4 Avant, with the first official photo of Audi’s new RS4 leaking out ahead of an official reveal. Audi have the new TT RS Plus debuting at Geneva – and Audi has already issued official details and photos – but so far we haven’t had anything on the new RS4 Avant, which we also know will arrive at Geneva.
Caterham has launched its new Seven 160 – an 80hp entry-level variant of its back-to-basics sports car available that’s available now from £14,995. A new metal forming technique pioneered by Ford that drastically reduces the time and cost of producing low-volume and one-off body parts may lead to cost-effective customization, redesigns, one-offs and limited production runs. Ford Freeform Fabrication Technology (F3T) forms sheets of metal by two stylus-like tools, one on each side of the surface. Using CAD data they form the part to the exacting strength and finish tolerances usually associated with stamping dies.
